The project is part of our ongoing Masterplan for Redevelopment of Leopardstown Racecourse for enhancing the racing experience at Leopardstown.
The colourful interior integrates design elements of the new Leopardstown Racecourse brand identity.
It has been very well received by the Racing Community including Racegoers.
Feedback from Owners & Trainers is that it is ’a first class facility, unmatched by any racecourse in Ireland, and on a par with the best courses in the UK,’.
This fast track twin phase project was completed in time for the 2015 Christmas Festival .It includes a full makeover of the hospitality areas on Grandstand Level 2 and an enlarged Champions Bar at ground level. The venues are excellently located with excellent viewing position over the Parade Ring and easy access to the trackside grandstand.
It includes:

from Parade Ring to Trackside
- High Quality 1888 Restaurant which is
subdivisible into two separate venues
with dramatic waveform ceilings
- Leopardstown Lounge for Owners and Trainers and
Guests
with stainless steel and oak interior
- Members Bar with simple elegant makeover of
existing venue
- 5 no. modernised Toilet Blocks
- New Main Entrance Glazed Oak Screens
- Refit
of main stairway and escalators and new lift serving all grandstand levels
