Apartments are accessed vertically by 9 stairs (and lifts), so avoiding long corridors. Orientation and sections are designed to ensure all apartments obtain sunshine. Most have private terraces or balconies - many of which residents have filled with plants. The existing calp limestone walls were retained with cut outs made with care so as to retain the feel of the massive walls - particularly that to Bow Street, the largest example in Dublin.
New build externally is clad in silver cladding in deliberate contrast to the stone. Internally walls are rendered with coloured plaster to reflect light.
